About Marketing & Events
David and Nancy Rosenberg founded Marketing & Events, Inc. (M&E, Inc.), a high-end event company specializing in corporate events, trade shows, festivals and conferences, over 30 years ago. They are well known within the industry for managing and designing professional, creative and well-organized events while working closely with clients to capture their overall vision and goal.
Whether it is the much acclaimed 10 day Newport Winter Festival, the highly regarded National Sports Turf managers Conference and the international and culturally rich Black Ships Festival. David and his team handle every aspect with an incredible eye for detail and professional commitment. David has run the Newport Black Ships Festival for the Japan American Society of RI for 35 years. He plays an active role in developing and sustaining a positive relationship between the State of RI and the citizens of Japan through tourism, education and the arts. The M & E team has had the pleasure of working throughout the Unites States with a variety of companies including Rolls Royce, Viking yachts, Ferrari North America, Toray Plastics (America), Southwest Airlines, Disney and Amgen. David was the proud recipient of the Governor’s Tourism Award for the State of Rhode Island recognizing this outstanding work promoting the state of Rhode Island. David continuously strives to attract tourists and company related events to Rhode Island providing a major economic impact on the state. David is also registered as a Starwood Pro with Starwood Properties which includes hotels such as The Westin, W Hotels, and The Sheraton.
Nancy handles all of the in-house design work for Marketing & Events, Inc. She produces the collateral and promotional materials, advertisements and programs for all corporate events, festivals and trade shows. Prior to joining David and creating Marketing & Events, Inc. she worked at Magratten Wooley, a design firm in Newport, for three years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Salve Regina University, where she majored in art, and minored in management. She received the outstanding art student award her senior year. She brings creative, innovative design ideas to the M&E, Inc. team and will oversee the conference collateral pieces.
Brittany has grown up in the business, helping with events since she could walk (basically). She graduated Cum Laude from Salve Regina University, where she received her bachelors in art, with a double concentration in Graphic Design and Photography. She currently runs all 5 of the M&E websites for their different festivals, conferences, and businesses. She has developed a strong social media presence for the company. She is also the in house photographer and photographs all of our events. She recently created a new website for our Newport Winter Festival as well as this new M&E website. Her youth brings a modern design and flare to M&E for both online and printwork.
Tyler received his Bachelors of fine arts degree in Communication Arts at Virginia Common Wealth University. He is an talented illustrator and has created many works of art for Marketing & Events, including our Winter Festival Illustrations. He also has experience in graphic design and digital illustration and offers freelance illustration and design services.
